Azadeh Yavari shows us her peaceful childhood family home surrounded by mountains; with its rooms, its quiet corners, its terraces, its windows, its curtains with arabesque patterns and its beautiful Persian garden. Marked by tragic periods of her country; war and revolution, Azadeh Yavari imagines a different space and time in her artistic work. Colors and objects change, their perspectives evolve: the borders between the inside and the outside, the shadow and the light, the agitated day and the calm night, the manifest and the hidden fade. However, it keeps lines, thresholds, fabrics, curtains more or less light, in order to distinguish, and, especially, to protect; to veil and repress reality in the country where the veil is imposed. Azadeh Yavari, is an Iranian painter, graduated in painting and drawing from the National School of Fine Arts in Paris in 1977 and 1980. She has been the subject of numerous individual or collective exhibitions in France, and in Iran. She won a first prize at the first biennial of painting at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art in 1991. His works are part of the permanent collection of the Cantal Museum, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Palestine, and of the collection: Louis Aragon. Azadeh Yavari's paintings are collected by collectors in France, Iran and the United States.
